Michael Lazaris is a vet, television presenter and expert originally from South Africa.
Born in Cape Town, Michael grew up with his own menagerie of animals, from snakes and chameleons to dogs, cats and parrots. He then moved with his family to Greece for 6 years before heading to the University of Edinburgh, where Michael completed his veterinary and zoology degrees. Michael now works as a small animal vet in London at the RSPCA Putney Animal Hospital, where he helps treat all animals, from British wildlife to stray cats and dogs, some of which have been abused or mistreated.
As an expert and presenter, Michael has worked on TV programmes such as The Dog Rescuers and Jo Brand’s Cats and Kittens for Channel 5. Michael also made an appearance on First Dates Series 7 for Channel 4.
Michael’s passion is volunteering at animal rescue centres around the world. To help raise awareness about pet health, Michael runs a successful Instagram account showcasing his veterinary work.

Mick Dawson November Update

By UpdatesNo Comments

One of our talents, Mick Dawson, has a very busy month ahead of him. There are a number of talks he’s going to be a part of in November:

15th – Mick’s a keynote speaker at the Captains Black Tie Dinner at The Dyke Golf Club, East Sussex.

20th – He’ll be the keynote at the Pegasus Network Club (Military Club) lunch in London.

21st – He’s attending the Royal Marines Charity Dinner at London’s Guildhall (As a guest of the sponsor Patron Capital).

29th– He’ll be spending a day at The Petersfield School, where he will be giving a series of presentations to the students during the day and in the evening a presentation for the general public at the school theatre. Tickets are still available and he will be signing copies of his first book in the evening.

He’s also speaking twice this month at NARU (National Ambulance Resilience Unit) on two of their hazardous training courses where Mick regularly delivers presentations on adaptive leadership, crisis management, teamwork and resilience.

Early in December, Mick departs on a Celebrity cruise ship ‘Constellation’ as a guest speaker, selling his first book; battling the oceans in a rowboat, and promoting his second; Never Leave a Man Behind, which is published in June 2020. He’ll be sailing from Dubai to Singapore via a host of great locations including; India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

As well as these talks, Mick is also busy training for a 90k cross country ski race with his old rowing partner, Steven Sparkes (Who’s blind). They’re taking part in the Vasaloppen in Sweden, on March 1st. Due to Mick having not skied since 1984, that should be interesting …
